Crooked Road

It's a crooked road

We're not sure

where we're going

We've been here,

we've been there

We would like some calm

and open air

Our hearts are full

and our minds are free

Just hoping this somewhere

is where we are supposed to be

Each day can get lost

when we look ahead

But hoping our dream

is the right path to tread

It's been a crooked road

And I will travel it with you

'till the end

A crooked road is the best trail to go,

there are many interesting people

and places to know

A crooked road made us strong

and lean,

many lessons from the road we have seen

The crooked road

will take us home

and it will be alright

A crooked road for me and you,

a crooked road for our children too

A crooked road will lead us true

The crooked road is what we must do

The crooked road,

it will show us through

The crooked road

it has a destination too

North or South,

East or West,

let us open our arms

and let God do the rest,

but counting on West!
